The deadline for receipt of Poster abstracts has now passed. All corresponding authors will receive a confirmation of acceptance or rejection, by email or regular mail, by the end of May 2013, together with presentation instructions if accepted.
We invite you to submit abstracts for inclusion in the ADEE 2013 poster session. Submission guidelines are set out in detail below. In recent years an ever increasing number of Abstracts have been submitted and we look forward to an enthusiastic response again this year.
Submissions must be set out precisely in accordance with the format included in the abstract instructions. Submitted abstracts that are not in accordance with the guidelines will not be edited, corrected or translated by the organising committee and will not be shortlisted for evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
Posters may be mounted on Wednesday 28th August from 1600 hours or Thursday, 29th August from 0800 hours.
Posters will be divided in groups according to themes and subjects. Members of the ADEE Executive Committee, Scientific Committee, the Local Organising Committee and other invited persons will facilitate group discussions on posters within these themes and subjects.
Authors are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation. All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the ADEE and those accepted will be published in the meeting Programme/Abstract Book.
Completed abstracts must be set out as a Word document in the format detailed below. Additional guidance notes are available here.
Abstracts must be submitted as an email attachment on the template provided here. Right click to save this template to your computer and use it to complete your abstract. The document should then be submitted as an email attachment to: email@example.com.
While authors may collaborate on a number of abstracts, no more than three abstracts may be submitted for consideration by an author who is listed as first author/presenter. There is no guarantee of acceptance of any submission.
Accepted posters will be exhibited in the Poster area during the meeting. A short oral presentation of posters will be scheduled. The presenting author must arrange to be available at the scheduled times. Six posters will be selected for formal Oral Presentation during the final day of the meeting programme. Authors should note that the focus of the meeting is dental education in Europe and any abstract therefore should be written from an education standpoint.
Selection criteria are: relevance to the subject of the meeting, interest of content and research quality. The authors of the six posters selected for oral presentation will be notified by end of July 2013.
