To get to the TIK (Congress Centre), you have three options:
Take a taxi. The ride should cost anywhere between EUR 10.00 to 20.00.
If you use the shuttle service from the airport, the driver will take you to the TIK (Congress Centre).
Using public transport in Szeged: if you get off at Szeged Bus Station (Mars Square), you can use the following buses and trolleys to get to the Széchenyi Square: 5, 9, 19, 60, 72. Then, at Széchenyi Square you should catch Tram 2 and get off at Aradi vértanúk tere (2nd stop).
If you happen to arrive by train to Szeged Train Station, you are able to travel to the city centre by Tram 2. You should get off at Aradi vértanúk tere (3rd stop).
Frequency: 5-10 minutes, journey time to TIK (Congress Centre): about 5-10 minutes.

Alternatively, you can buy a single ticket from the bus driver but then it is more expensive.
Getting to the TIK (Congress Centre)
If you get to the Aradi vértanúk tere, you should search for the corner of the Tisza Lajos Boulevard and the Zászló Street (a Calvinistic Church can be found here). The TIK (Congress Centre) is at the end of Zászló Street.
Taxi Service in Szeged
As it has been mentioned earlier, you can take a taxi in Szeged. Some drivers may drive in a manner you might not approve of, and some may often try to overcharge you, especially when they hear you are not a native. Therefore, always ask the driver to turn the taxi faremeter on or ask for the receipt. Most taxis accept credit cards, but you should always have cash with you.
A taxi from/to the TIK (Congress Centre) or in either direction from the city centre to any of the suburbs should cost from 10.00 to 14.00 euro.
