Phishing Emails and Spam
We have been made aware by colleagues that some have received phishing and spam emails purporting to be coming from ADEE staff or Executive Committee members. Some are asking for emergency funding and some payment of outstanding invoices. These emails are not emanating from ADEE and should be deleted.
While the emails may look genuine (coming from Denis Murphy or others connected with ADEE) they are not and if you look at the email from which they originated it is not from the ADEE office domains or the named individuals.
Please be aware the ADEE will never collect your credit card, bank or other person details via this method. Should you receive such emails delete them immediately without opening the attachment.
If you ever have concerns around an email you receive from ADEE you can use the contact us section of the website to make us aware of this or contact the office by telephone.
