Feedback on the application will be available, on request, from the Chair of the Advisory Committee.
The committee shall be known as the Excellence in Dental Education Advisory Committee (EDEAC) and is comprised of a Chair; the President OR Secretary General of the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ex officio); OR one member of the ADEE Executive Committee (ex officio); three other members, at least one of whom should be a holder of the award; an independent educator who is familiar with European Higher Education.
The current Chair is Dr Ronald Gorter. The period of office for non ex-officio members shall be three years, renewable for one further term; committee appointments are made by the ADEE executive.
The role of EDEAC is to promote the educational excellence award to eligible colleagues, to sustain the ‘currency’ and status of the award, to commend a short list of worthy applicants to the ADEE Executive for their consideration and to provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
The decision of the ADEE Executive is final.
