Learning together to improve oral health and quality of life
ADEE - Association for Dental Education in Europe
ADEE 2018 Venue
Faculty of Dentistry
University of Oslo, Norway
The formal organisation of dental education in Norway was established in 1909. In 1959, the dental college was integrated with the University of Oslo and became the Faculty of Dentistry.
Today the Faculty is a modern institution with research-based training in all subjects and is led by staff with professorial qualifications and PhD degrees.
The Faculty of Dentistry is located at two sites.
The Faculty’s building in Geitmyrsveien 69/ 71 (see map) is the main location for the ADEE meeting.
The Preclinical training centre (see map) is the venue for Wednesday’s Get-together-party. Thanks to Dentsply Sirona’s initiative and sponsoring, shuttle buses will take us directly from the main venue to the Get-together-party, which is a bus ride of about 15 minutes, and drop you off in the city centre at the Oslo Opera after a pleasant gathering concluding day one of this year’s meeting.
The social events on Thursday and Friday evening take place in the city centre, close to the Oslo fjord and your hotel, if you booked via ADEE’s website (see map).
