ADEE invites consultation on ‘Guidance on academic and corporate entity engagement’
In collaboration with our corporate partners ADEE has drafted a new guidance document on corporate - academic engagement.
This is the first step in a renewing and updating how ADEE and its members engage in a proactive and effective manner with Corporate Bodies.
In recent years, in response to increasing regulatory demands at a national and European level, academic institutions are coming under increasing pressure to ensure their relationship with corporate entities are transparent, compliant and ethical.
This has led to a call from ADEE institutional members and corporate partners for ADEE to offer guidance to its membership on such interactions and engagements. As with all ADEE activity, this document was devised through consultation, collaboration and consensus.
This document does not purport to be a legal interpretation of EU and national laws; rather it is voluntary code or guidance document based on principles that ADEE members are encouraged to voluntarily adhere to.
We now invite ADEE members to provide comment on this draft document and to help us shape an effective and valuable suite of support documents for ADEE members. Any comments, suggestions should be email to email@example.com no later than 30th April 2018.
