Joint ADEA/ADEE London 2016 Meeting Website Launched
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) and the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) are pleased to announce the launch of a website for their Joint meeting ‘Shaping the future of dental education’ to be held in Kings College London on 8th to 9th May 2017.
The website will continue to be updated in the coming months to become the central resource for programme, accommodation and registration details. We encourage perspective delegates to continue to visit the page to find out more on this exciting new joint meeting. Currently you can find details of the Keynote Speaker, Workshop themes, Accommodation options and avail of discounted flights through the oneworld alliance.
In conjunction with the launch of the meeting website the ADEA and ADEE have also issued a call for junior faculty to serve as Rapporteurs/Recorders for the joint London meeting. This will allow junior faculty interaction with international colleagues, experience of the consensus forming process and safe guards the future of dental education by identifying the next generation of international leaders. The positions are not age limited but will be preferentially awarded to individuals who are classified as junior faculty within their institution. Professors, consultants and senior staff who have been in substantive posts over 3 years are unlikely to be supported.
Each workshop theme will have two rapporteurs/reporters assigned to it (8 in total). They will be expected to:
assist the workshop facilitators in the literature review process
assist with the writing of the final paper
deliver in a timely manner a reasonable amount of work and should commit to this
For full details of the application process, how to apply and the roles and responsibilities of rapporteurs/recorders visits the meeting webpage. Closing date for receipt of application is 31st July 2016.
