Injection Moulding Technique: Easy aesthetics, predictable outcome
GC Campus Leuven
Session synopsis:
Science meets Industry: an information workshop session on injection moulding techniques and how to teach them.

Delegates are invited by GC Europe to join them at the European Head Quarters located just 20 minutes from Leuven to explore innovative ways in teaching injection moulding techniques to undergraduate students. Your transportation, lunch and all costs are very kindly supported by GD Europe. Places are limited to 50 persons on a first come first served basis.

The event is subject to a non refundable booking fee of €50 to secure your place and avoid no shows on this limited capacity event.

Anterior restorations with high esthetic demands are a common challenge to most clinicians in their daily practice. Traditional layering techniques require training, experience and skills together with long clinic times. Unfortunately the this technique often gives unpredictable results with possible re-works and unhappy patients. The alternative is to choose for indirect restorations which comes with superior aesthetics but require an extra clinical session and result in higher costs related to the laboratory works.

The injection moulding technique is a novel process ideal to treat wear cases and to recreate complex morphologies in both the anterior and posterior regions with optimal aesthetics using a transparent silicone material and an injectable resin composite with high flexural strength and wear resistance.

The aim of this lecture is to present an easy and predictable technique that will enable clinicians to create direct restorations as aesthetic as indirect ones, but created in a quicker and more affordable way while using less invasive preparations.

This session is kindly supported by GC Europe.
The ADEE executive and members are most appreciative of this support.
